Welcome to the NIWA Waikato Science & Technology Fair.  The goal of the Waikato fair is to promote a greater interest in science and technology in our youth and we need your help.   As teachers you have one of the greatest influences over your students and have the leadership to help them go far.

Registration process

STEP 1 – Fill out the School Registration Form by 8 June.
STEP 2 – Organise your students, ensure they have their copy of the Students Handbook and inspire them to go far!
STEP 3 – Finalise your entries and submit the Final Entry Form by 10 August.

 Want more help? > Wintec science staff are happy to assist teachers by running guidance sessions for groups of students – please contact Sarah Hickey on (07) 834 8800 ext 8303 for more information.  Depending on the requirements of your class, sessions may include topics such as how to develop ideas, how to keep scientific records for science fair log books, how to work through the design process, how to work through the research process, and presentation tips.
